As its name mentions it, this collection its inspired by the Pre-Colombian Culture established in Colombia, focusing specially on one Indigenous Tribe Called “The Taironas”. The main source of inspiration for the Taironas was and still is nature, as well as a lot of mystic creatures with feathers and feline masks, birds, reptiles embossed disks, bells, and bracelets made in Tumbaga gold. They were very famous for their wax casting technique making outstanding Tumbaga gold pieces such as pendants, lip-plugs, nose ornaments, necklaces that became shields and earrings.

 

Pre-Colombian Affair is a combination of their ancient love of nature and mystic creatures combined with contemporary designs and precious stones making a tribute to my beautiful culture, traditions and ancestry.
